Stylish kitchen design

Last week I talked about my black kitchen and shared a few photos of other inspiring black cabinet design. Today I thought I'd share some of my all time favorite kitchen spaces. None of which happen to be black. When I get a little time (and money) I can't wait to draw on these stylish spaces for inspiration. I have no plans to change my black cabinets and I think several of the design ideas found in these rooms will apply nicely in my space.
Overall, I love the clean modern feel with pops of color that these kitchen's embody.

I also love that several show the dark hardwood floors in the kitchen rather than tile. I plan to continue our hardwoods from the rest of the downstairs into the kitchen at some point as well.

Which is your favorite?

What makes a kitchen fabulous to you?

  1. I'm in love with them all, but especially love that last photo. So open! An open kitchen with granite is what I would love. I've got the granite now, but just need a bigger kitchen with tons more space. Great post!

  2. Kitchen design lets you get your creative juice out of your system and put it to reality. Setting a design for your kitchen indeed entails a lot of planning and budget-securing. So before you step out to redecorate or remodel your kitchen, make sure to get the most out of the best opinions to make redecorating a wonderful success and experience.

  3. I love the last one!! Its so clean and traditional-modern all at the same time. 'you can really punch it up with beautiful red flowers and different colored plates for each season. I hope some day I will have a kitchen just like this one!!
