entryway link party

September 12, 2011

"Coming through your front door should be like running into your ex-boyfriend. And he's fat."
-Jonathan Adler

Well, I've never done a link party so we'll see how this goes.
Today's host is Abode Love and we're supposed to all share a picture of our entryway.
Pretty simple.

Pretty sure I'm not in love with either of the spaces but thought I'd share anyway.

Pawleys Island
oh and here's the before
{we all love to see the uglies}

here's the view from the living room

Richmond

I like the entryway in our house in Pawleys way better.  It's a bona fide front entrance hall which we don't currently have in Richmond.
I love my skirted table but the space needs a little help still.  I'd like a smaller mirror (maybe sunburst?) and some framed art on the walls around it to add a bit more oooph.

Here are some deets on that linky

Does your entryway need some help or is it already a fabulous welcome space in your home?
