fiddle fig wing backs

August 7, 2012

Okay, so it's taken me a while but I've finally jumped on the fiddle fig fabric bandwagon.  I even suggested it to an e-client to upholster two wingback chairs in her dining room.  She quickly vetoed it (for the same reasons I've been hesitant too) but it's too good of a look not to share.  What do y'all think?  Fiddle fig or fiddle fugly?

  1. I actually kind of like it but I could see myself getting sick of it fast. Hope you are enjoying your last day in Pawleys- had so much fun Sunday!

  2. I could see making it into pillows - less investment if I got tired of it.

  3. I got to be honest I don't love the fiddle fabric. I do however love those wing back chairs swoon!

PS Did I mention I miss you already?

  6. I love it. I am trying to find a spot for it in my house. I am thinking a large skirted round table in a nook somewhere!

  7. It has grown on me, but its definitely too trendy for a major investment for most people. Pillows or slip cover, yes. Upholstery, no.

  9. I absolutely love it and dream all the time about having it in our living room. Honestly, I think the colors and the print make it really versatile and I could see myself living with it for a long time. Forever, perhaps. :)

  12. Sometimes the choices that scare me the most are the best decisions when I just go for it! I think they would be fun ... and could probably go anywhere!!

  14. First time commenter here- I can't decide I am completely on the fence about it! I like one of the commenter's idea above of throw pillows!
