Finding mislabled spam mail

August 19, 2012

I just sent a request to re-set my password for a site a rarely use and had to go looking around all my email addresses for the reply email.
Lawd-a-mercy.
The things I found.
Let's take a step back.
I started my blogger account with my personal email address and then quickly added and merged a blog email address.  I always stay logged in to my personal account because it's connected to blogger and I regularly check them both throughout the day.  I check the spam mail about once a week or so to make sure nothing important was mislabeled.
What I didn't know was that anything filtered as spam to my blog email wasn't coming through to the spam folder I check.
Which means, anything y'all have been sending me that I haven't responded to in like, two or three years, was probably sitting in that pawleysislandposh spam folder never to be found.
The folder only showed things as recently as a few weeks ago and though most of it was crapmail I found two real deal emails written by two real deal readers.  Who probably think I'm a shit for never responding to them.  So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you have ever sent me an email and never got a response take this as my public apology.  And PLEASE if it's still relevant or pertinent or just effing hilarious resend it to me.
Pretty please.

  1. Don't you just hate when stuff like that happens. Sometimes I have way to much stuff I should be checking that I get overwhelmed.

I am having a giveaway on my blog, hope you will stop by and enter. Sunny Days and Starry Nights

  2. Hate when that happens! Although sometimes, like this summer with kids home from school, I just click through my emails and don't respond. It's awful but better than me pulling my hair out or emailing on my phone while they swim/attempt to dunk each other/drown:)
