Okay ladies. So my husband is the gifter of these directions but unfortunately it's his gig so I can't really help you out if you don't follow. The good news is, you really can't mess it up!
Sweat onions, and peppers. Sear sausage and de-glaze the pan. Add garlic, chicken stock and allow to simmer. Finish sauce with heavy cream, salt, pepper and parsley.
Cook grits according to package, substitute chicken stock for water. Stir softened cream cheese into grits and serve.
Spoon shrimp gravy over grits and garnish with fresh grated Parmesan.
