Meal Planning Made Simple: Week 12

Sorry for the late food posting this week.  It's been that kind of week for me.  For the second week in a row.  The babes are all finally well but my allergies have been going bonkers.  I'm seriously doped up on zyrtec as we speak.  I've been doubling up on my pills trying to get things to slow down.  It's managed to force me to move in slow motion.  I let our car run out of gas this week.  Twice.  Don't ask.  Just laugh a little bit if you saw me walking around our neighborhood with the double stroller.

  1. That baked potato grilled cheese has my name written all over it! Dying luaghing about the gas. I always wait til the last minute to fill my car up- I have yet to run out though!

  2. What are we supposed to do with this, woman???!!! It's Thursday. Too little too late ;)

But really, I want to eat everything here. Sorry about your car allergies :( Get on a nasal spray. It changed my life.

  3. I am soooo with you on the miserable allergy train-I'm lucky if i remember to put on deodorant. Not my best season ;)

  4. I hate allergies. Luckily mine aren't too awful...yet. My husband would never understand how allergies could make you run out of gas but I DO!

  5. Damn allergies. They're killin it right now in Wilmington, NC. But that pizza looks amazing! I need to make that now.

  6. Oh girl, I'm with you on the allergies. At least you didn't think your daughter's school ended at 12 instead of 11:30 and get a call from a very snotty teacher. Yeah, that happened. Damn drugs.

  7. I haven't made pizza in the last 2 weeks, I'm on it tomorrow! Hope you get better!

  8. I totally feel ya, my allergies are terrible and I feel like a zombie

  9. Sorry to hear about your allergies. It's so hard to be under the weather with little ones.

Too funny about running out of gas twice - not really funny but I can relate. A few years ago I ran out of gas 3 times in 2 weeks. To make matters worse when my husband came to rescue me wih a one gallon gas can our car required 3 gallons to get it to start! My husband was not happy wih me but we now laugh about it.

    Hang in there!

  10. Thanks for your comment, Angie. Have you ever tried joining a critique group? I'm not sure where you're writing from but there are lots of SCBWI critique groups all around the world, and there are lots of online ones, too. Sometimes you can just get too close to something and it's hard to see where to go with it whereas a fresh pair of eyes can come up with something really useful... Good luck, Clare.
Thanks for the post, Kyra, and best of luck with Strength Carrie -- I've been hearing great things about it.
