Meal Planning Made Simple: Week 18

November 18, 2013

I've gotten several emails asking where my meal planning menus have gone.  Truth is, I haven't done them.  We've been terrible about planning out meals lately.  I'm going to use y'all to get me accountable again.  Life really is so much easier when you have more than one day's worth of food in the house.

And this time of year there is so much else going on so having a planned dinner menu alleviates just a little bit of that stress.  Why do we all say this and then stop following through after just a few weeks?

Are y'all interested in me sharing some of my favorite sides or desserts for Thanksgiving?  I'd be happy to share those here with you'd find it helpful.

Vegetarian Tacos with Goat Cheese | Tuscan Sausage Soup | Parmesan Herbed Stuffed Chicken | Creamy Apple, Potato, and Cheddar Soup | Chicken Yakisoba

  8. Planning my meals out for the week is about the only way I can function. Too many trips to the grocery store with the little ones puts me over the edge!

I used your post on cheese trays this past weekend to create my own and it was a huge hit at a girls night! Everything came from Trader Joe's and they recommended this awesome cheese--Black Pepper Toscano..have you had it? They said it's their best selling cheese and it was delish! Thanks for the inspiration.

  9. We made that Chicken Yasaba a few weeks ago and it was good and pretty easy! Although Matt claimed all he could taste was ketchup I still thought it was tasty! Always love meal ideas!

  12. Today, people are in tight budget to save more money in the future. Meal planning is one of the best ways to save money without sacrificing any health benefits. Me as a mom of two children and a housewife to my beloved husband, I practice a typical meal planning to save more money. This is one of the basics I need to learn since only one of us is working for the family. Aside from my own way of meal planning, I also rely on http://mealplans4thefamily.com/ to learn more ways in meal planning. I'll tell you, it's really effective.
