New House: Dining Room Progress

February 5, 2014

Decorating in stages.  Remember that's our key phrase over here.  I photographed our dining room at the beginning of last week in an effort to show you the progress we've made recently.  I'm not in love with it.  I think I either need to bring in a lot more color or remove some.  The corals and greens I think are going to be the first to go.  I'd like to replace them with some textured neutrals.  Go figure.

  7. I really love the shape of your dining chairs. Like the others, I'd definitely play up the blues and greens (and the gold frame) of the painting--it's gorgeous. And the tabletop swan is pretty fantastic, too.

  13. I always say decorating is a slow proces. In my case a snail's pace. Your dining room is looking wonderful.
