Yoga Pants + Wine | Girls Night In

February 19, 2014

Several of the moms in our neighborhood have started getting together after putting the kids to bed for yoga pants + wine.  It's brilliant.  As much fun as it is to pull out your dry clean only silk blouses and straighten your hair, it's nice to sneak out of the house right after stories in your comfy clothes too.  And chat.  Of course without the worry of driving home or stumbling down the pavement in my high heels I may be enjoying an extra glass of wine.  Or three.
Do you ever get together with your girlfriends and not dress up?  Just stay home and hang out and sip wine on the couch like you did in college?

  2. so cute! My yoga studio does a Yoga for Winers night where we do yoga for an hour then do a wine tasting and hang out. Love your outfits and accessories. This looks like my day at home outfit :0), Sounds like your new home and new neighbors are fabulous and I know they love you! xo Nancy

Especially bc it's called the "Riggins" and it just makes me feel like watching Friday Night Lights, haha. Great round up Julia! -Shelby

  6. This is the favorite option for my girlfriends and I. Although, we usually plan it just slightly before bedtime so we get out of all the bedtime chaos. Shhh, don't tell the husbands. :)

  12. This is most likely the best idea ever. Haha. I mean that's the thing. I always want to go out for wine with my girlfriends, but need to find a spot that let's me wear my yoga pants! :)

  13. I have several pairs of yoga pants, but none as expensive as those on your board. Do you really see a difference between these and more moderately priced ones? Honestly, I stock up when Target has a sale and am quite happy with the quality.

  14. Love this! About once a month my friend Caroline and I have a comfy wine night. We alternate who brings the wine and who brings the take-out. It is so nice and a special time to really catch up!

  15. My neighbors and I do this about once a month as well. We switch houses and everyone brings their own wine but the 'hostess' provides snacks. And then we stumble home--it's perfect!

  18. Sounds fun. We usually go out with girlfriends but Friday afternoon happy hour in the back yard with kiddos playing in the yard/driveway is a normal thing on good weather days and that always includes yoga pants or running shorts and wine :)

  21. I love your collection. I run a yoga studio in Albany and always recommend Lululemon yoga pants to my learners. I have personally used these pants. One time investment makes you feel comfortable for years.
