Hi, I'm Julia. I'm a wife and mother of two . I'm also a photographer specializing in natural light.
I believe that every picture should bring your child's unique personality to the surface in a stylish way.
Just as large companies ensure their print advertising portrays just the right image, I give each portrait session similar attention to detail through unique locations and help with wardrobe selection.
My goal is to capture the best version of your little ones and present you with a picture that looks more like a magazine advertisement than a school picture or camera phone snapshot.
Maternity
Most ladies like to schedule this as soon as they find out they're pregnant but we won't shoot until the 7th or 8th month. This is when you've got that big beautiful belly to show off but haven't developed cankles yet (yes, sorry it happens to us all)! Husbands and children are welcome to join you.
Newborn
Newborn shoots work best during the first 10 days while baby is still sleepy. I will pencil you in based on your due date anytime during your pregnancy and will confirm a specific date after baby is born. Newborn shoots typically last longer as we allow time for eating and napping.
Babies & Children
These shoots allow your child's personality to shine through. We will get down on the ground and giggle our way to a perfect picture! Please bring a well rested and well fed child even if that means you need to run 30 minutes late. Happy children make for happy pictures!
Please bring several outfit choices. I encourage you to email me your selections so we can create a cohesive style for the shoot. Creating layers with accessories and hats make for a richer photograph and I have lots of shops I'd be happy to direct you to for ideas. I can also provide some things if we discuss it beforehand!
Don't forget to bring a snack and a favorite toy or blankie. Something to make them happy and feel comfortable. Sometimes these sneak their way into a picture and it's fun to save that memory as well.
Seniors, Family & Engagement
