One Room Challenge Linking Party

Good morning friends!  Thanks so much for all our your enthusiasm with my big reveal for the One Room Challenge yesterday.  I'm really excited about this space!  I'm going to keep it short and sweet today because I've got a really big to-do list for this morning that involves showering.
That's usually a task for after morning drop-off or nap time.  And that's not every day.  Just keeping it real.
But today we're headed to the State Fair.  I'm pretty excited about it this year.  We can't enjoy any of the fabulous fair food so we'll have to enjoy ourselves with some farm animals and people watching.  We haven't been since Wells was one and I was pregnant with Tagg.  Last year we got rained out on the day we were supposed to go and the babes were too little to go anyway.  I think we're going to have a blast.
Yesterday I mentioned that you participate in your own One Room Challenge right along with us.  Be sure to head over to Calling It Home this morning to add your space to the link party.  Linda is the founder of the ORC and has graciously invited anyone to play along this round!
I plan to feature my favorites here on Pawleys Island Posh so don't forget to add your space!

  1. I took my little ones to the fair yesterday for the first time in a few years as well. It was definitely some good people watching!

  2. The animals and the award-winning humongous vegetables and jams are my favorite part! I don't trust those scary rides the put up in an hour and the food can be just as frightening! hehe

  3. we have the fair here too!! We will go next week. Can't wait! We will be moving in a few months so I can't do the link party this time around.....but look forward to seeing others!

  4. Julia, I LOVE that state fair and it brings back so many memories of Bethany showing her horse there for many years, and I was the leader of the horse 4H club and took a dozen kids overnight for several days to the fair! It was a blast. Have a great time! Good luck on your playroom project, it looks fantastic..any chance of going to IKEA for it?

  5. Can't wait to see what you do with that playroom!

  6. I have the best memories of going to the state fair when I was a kid. I am sure your family will have a great time.
And I will be following the progress of your room. I am sure I will get great inspiration for my own toy covered home.

  7. So glad to find your blog, Julia. The Gracious Posse ( is also based in Richmond. We look forward to watching your sunroom redo.

  8. so excited to see what everyone links up and find some new design blogs to follow!!

Thanks for joining the conversation!
