Well y'all know the current conditions of my life and it pretty much orbits around comfort. I've been known to rock the pajamas well past noon on more than one day. But don't think I'm a sad state. I'm good at comfort wear. Leggings and a cute top or a cotton house dress? Yes please. If this were the 80's I'd be rocking my perm and track suit. I just know it.
In an effort to add a few new pieces to my comfy wear rotation I've gathered some cute alternatives to your old sorority t-shirts and boyfriend boxers. All can be worn to target come the warmer months but pair nicely with a pair of leggings or uggs at home like I do.

We're off to Tagg's appointment at Children's Hospital this morning to get his foot evaluated by a specialist. Did I mention that there's a chance his physical delays are stemming from an actual problem and that the root of the problem might be with his foot. Yes, well anyway. We've been waiting on this appointment for seven weeks and I'm anxious to hear what is said.
So let's all put on something comfy tonight right at 5:00, pour a big glass of wine and make something fatty. Sounds good right?

Those dresses are the cutest! My comfort clothing item of choice is a pair of black yoga pants. Hope Tagg is sleeping better without his Benadryl. And that his parents are too, of course :)
ReplyDeleteHope Tagg's appointment goes well- thinking of you. Hopefully it is just his foot that would be good news right?? Love the cute stripped dresses. Noting I love more than a comfy cotton dress!
ReplyDeletelove that anthro bell sleeve pullover! Hope all goes well with the appt. for you sweet little guy!
ReplyDeleteLoL! I often put on some comfy yoga pants before dinner. I call them yoga pants so that I feel better about donning the stretch fabric but trust me there is no yoga happening.
ReplyDeleteGood luck at the doc!
Now I'm going to spend all day trying to figure out how to hide purchasing the top 3 items. Need Them! I live in comfy stuff too. If I could stay in my pj's 24/7, I would. That pasta looks super yummy. I'm going to make it! Good luck at your appt!!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't hide anything. Even if I hoard cash so it never shows up, my husband can sniff out a new top or pair of shoes quicker than than a seventh grade girl. The good news is that he has impeccable taste and knows what good pieces cost. He's like my personal Rachel Zoe. Which is why I feel bad for looking so schleppy all the time :)
DeletePraying for Tagg today and good results hoping it's the foot right? Hello my name is comfy clothing!
ReplyDeleteI say amen to that!
ReplyDeleteLove Anthropologie Striated Scoopneck Chemise. I work right next to one and going to stop by to see if I can grab it.
ReplyDeleteLoving the Anthropologie Bell Sleeve Pullover. But I made myself a "no buying" promise (that I keep breaking...is it OK to break promises to yourself?). Good luck with your appointment; the folks at Children's Hospital are wonderful. Lucky to have such great resources here in Richmond!
ReplyDeleteGood luck at the appointment!
ReplyDeleteLove the Anthro pullover and good luck at your appointment!

Love all the comfy pieces! Now that I am back to staying at home with newborns again, I am searching for clothes that are comfy but aren't pajamas. Thanks for the ideas!!
ReplyDeletePraying for the appointment today let us know how it goes!
ReplyDeleteI'm a total stalker, but am not sure I've ever commented before. Love the alternatives to yoga pants ;) I always love the loungewear from Anthro. Makes me feel a little more put together.
ReplyDeleteHoping for good news for your sweet Tagg today!
Love the idea of being cute and comfortable. Those striped dresses from Old Navy are super cute and I love that denim one. Hope everything is ok with Tagg! xo

The older I get the more comfortable I like my clothes to be. Can't even imagine what I'll be wearing in another 10 years! Scary. Good luck at your appointment. I hope you get some answers.
ReplyDeleteLove all the Anthro picks, but especially the bell sleeve pullover! Every morning I WISH I could slip into something comfy for school. Crawling on the floor with kindergartners does not motivate me to dress up!
ReplyDeleteHope Tagg's appointment went well!
Jammies all day are fine as long as you put on real clothes to leave the house. Women here (SoCal) run around outside without bothering to put on clothes and they just look insane...who doesn't know that jammies are for in doors?
ReplyDeleteso cute! love all those dresses!
ReplyDeletePS - check out the Jack Rogers giveaway on my blog!
Will be thinking of your sweet lil one at his appt tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteAnd just saw lots of cute comfy clothes at the Gap yesterday, similar to a lot you posted which is funny!
I'm totally guilty of my OLD C of C sorority t's...I mean mid to late 90's OLD!
