Well I've officially ruled out painting my nightstands green in my master bedroom for the One Room Challenge. But those original white side tables might just be getting the green treatment after all. Just not in that room.
Those tables are currently white but have been painted before and it seems like the perfect place to inject a little Emerald Green and embrace the color of the year. I plan to move them down to the living room I think.
What do you think? Do you like painted furniture? Would you dare to go green?

YES!! My emerald dresser in the dining room was my first bold painted piece, I was such a chicken but it's my favorite, by far!
ReplyDeleteI like it, and it's only paint right? Change it again if you get tired of it!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun pop of color--especially for spring! And everyone is right, you can always prime it and paint them another color!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely would paint them emerald! It's only paint, and if youre not happy with them now, what's the harm? Love your examples. Good luck!

ReplyDeleteI think I'm the only one that kind of likes the brown?? BUT I think it totally depends on what headboard you're getting or if you're getting headboard.
ReplyDeleteAlso, what color is on your bedroom walls?? Love it!
Don't worry we're doing dark wood in my master bedroom so these two nightstands got the boot. They'll be relocating and getting a nice coat of glossy green like the mock-up above. Just not in that room!
