New House: Outside BEFORE

June 19, 2013

Okay, so let's keep on a roll with the new house and take a look at the outside.  Can we all stop and talk about the world's largest shed that occupies our backyard.  It resembles a guest house until you see the inside.  It might just be a guest suite upstairs one day but I can't even imagine the amount of money it would take to get it ready for that.  I'm sure our kids will use it as their clubhouse in a few years and do lord knows what with their friends inside.  We have a neighborhood full of kids....
Anyway, we've got a fantastic deck and a great big backyard.  Wells asked her daddy to build her a playground for her birthday with a slide, a swing, and a pony.  She's probably going to get the first two pretty soon.  Matt is solely in charge of the outside.  I don't have any plans to grow anything or mow anything so my opinion is minus a vote.
But after two years in city living with a tiny courtyard backyard, a front porch and sidewalk as our only outdoor play space the kids and I are in heaven!!!
