New House Master Bedroom Plans | Nightstand Options

April 3, 2014

I have been playing around with different options online for bedside tables ever since my earlier post.  I'm starting to find hope that there are affordable options out there.  I played around with my top choices from Home Decorators Collection.  All of these nightstands are at least 29" tall which was my top priority.  And they are under $300 which was important to me as well.  Matthew asked for whatever we chose to match.  We just both really want this room to feel complete and I think that balance will help with that serene feeling.

Which night stand is your favorite?  Thankfully Matthew and I both want the same one, although I love all three.  I'm curious to here your thoughts too.

  1. I love the first ones with the middle ones coming in a close second!

  2. I agree with Caycee! First ones...the 2nd ones would be second choice. Good luck!

  3. I LOVE the first options, as the lines add some playful interest, but I guess you do give up any form of additional basket storage with these. Either way, it's going to be great!

  4. I love the size of the second ones and the added potential storage underneath.

  5. Love the size of the second ones!!!

  6. I love the middle ones - great size!

  7. Love the first, but also like the size and storage options of the second! Depends on your needs

  8. I love the 2nd ones! I'm currently searching their website for the 2nd ones and can't find them - help?

  9. Like Rene said, I love the size and openness of the 2nd option. They'd look great with baskets under for extra storage!

  10. 2nd option, Nothing drives me crazier than too tiny nightstands...i have a full on desk as mine for books, lamp, flowers, picture frames...etc (water, wine, prenatal..etc). Ours match in color but not shape. Get the 2nd ones!!!!

  11. I like the first two choices. The size of your master bedroom in my opinion would determine which night tables would look the most appropriate. I recall your master is a nice size so I would go with the second choice. I love your blog and your sense of style!!

  12. I love the size of the second option. They feel substantial next to the bed. And the scallop detail is beautiful.

  13. I love the look of the first one, but the second one gets my vote. I'm all for a good amount of space for bedside tables and I'm loving the scallops.

  14. The first has such great curves! Good luck!

  15. I love the middle one, particularly because of it's width. Curious to see what you pick.

  16. I literally stared at this for ten minutes before deciding. I like the second one because of the width - but I wish they were in #1's color.....

  17. Second for sure! The extra space under for baskets is an added bonus.

  18. The middle one. I love how they balance out the size of the bed.

  19. Definitely the middle pair without a doubt...they look more substantial and I love the scallop detail! I love where this is going!! So pretty love!

  20. I like the second ones....substantial, storage, and versatile...could use in a den as well...Mandy

  21. I like the second one. I always find that the traditional night stands are too small. I love the idea of using tables or even small desks as night stands.

  22. Second one! I love the storage underneath...I also have 2 little ones and they are always bringing in their bedtime books and toys into our room: the baskets are a quick way to 'clean up' and the size of the table gives plenty of options for styling...

  23. I love the looks of the first one but the practicality of the second one! You wouldn't have space to store anything on or below #1. Lots of different options with #2. And if you get bored of them in your room (way down the road) then those could work in many other rooms!

  24. Second ones! Right now, ours match in color but not style. Would love to have matching ones in the new house!

  25. Love the scalloped detail and underneath possibilities of the second option! But they're all pretty.

  27. I love them all but the first and second are my favorite. I can't ever make decisions so I'd never be able to choose! Can't wait to see what you picked!

  28. Middle are my fave, both style wise and functionally! You could fit a lot on them, being that they're longer!

  29. Oh I would say the middle is my favorite- but I like a bigger night stand. Then my next option would be the first ones.

  30. Oh I am late to this party but I like the larger ones....the ones in the middle!
