Pink Flamingo Party

July 17, 2013

It's hard to believe that my sweet little buggie-boo is going to be three next week.  Like, crazy hard to believe.  We're having a Pink Flamingo themed taco bar to celebrate!  Think Palm Beach does cinco de Mayo.  It's going to be fantastic!  I've started a board to keep me on track.  With little girl's parties it's easy to get swayed by all the pink overload.  I can't wait to show y'all more of what I've rounded up!

Now I just need to figure out what to wear.  Summer sales have pretty much wiped out inventory  and there's not much left.  Here are my top four contenders.  I think.  I'm not closing the search off just yet.

What's your vote?

  2. I vote for the Cynthia Vincent dress. I think the Sauce Love Dress fits your theme perfectly but would you wear it after the party? Love the party theme!

  5. So FUN! Flamingo's were a top contender for Lill's 3rd pool party, and decided to go with whales instead! I'm sure Wells party will be nothing short of fabulous! Huge fan of the Rachel Pally dress or the Cynthia Vincent dress....both are super fab and your skinny minny self would look awesome in either!!

  6. I like the Cynthia Vincent dress too and it would transition nicely into the fall a little better than the others. Love this idea for a party. So unique and fun!

  8. Clearly it's a Wednesday...the Flamingos legs make a '4' and I was so confused as to how she was 4 - and then you said she was 3 and I went and relooked at the picture. I need coffee.

I know Wells is going to love this party - Pink Princess!

    1. I thought the EXACT same thing when I saw the flamingo. Like maybe I should wait until next year to do this theme?

  10. Twelfth Street!! Love that dress and it seems perfect for the party! What a great party this will be! Recently we were at the zoo and there was a baby flamingo - I decided then and there if I have ever have a girl there will be flamingos in her nursery. Happy birthday to your sweet Wells - I have a little guy turning 6(!) on Friday.
And congrats on the Cottage and Vine win!! I think you are the luckiest blogger I know!

  18. Love this theme! Very fun, and perfectly girly and posh! I vote for the Rachel Pally dress - I've been eyeing it all summer, so I can live vicariously through you if you but it! My second choice is the Cynthia Vincent dress - absolutely beautiful, but maybe not as versatile as the Pally since it's so memorable...Can't wait to see more of the party, and hear what you decide!

  29. Dang. Wish this was my party! I'm sure you know, but you can totally do that adorable stripey runner sitch using the b & w striped fabric from IKEA. Super affordable. I use mine ALL the time (have both the green and the black) and get tons of compliments and questions about where I got it.

  31. Hello! I'm new here to your blog. I am loving what I am seeing so far! I just revived my blog after a long period of neglect. Feel free to stop in and visit sometime. After nearly deleting everything and practically starting over, I need some new followers. :)
As for your party - props on the creative theme! I am voting on the Twelfth St. dress...absolutely perfect for a tropical party!
